Our Partners & The Claims Process

Most insurance carriers prefer you report the loss directly to their claims team so you can provide details of exactly what happened; however, we are here to help in any way we can and answer any questions you may have. 

Be sure to take pictures of the damage that ensues and always pay with a check or credit card so there is a paper trail (do NOT pay with cash).  You will be assigned an insurance adjuster by your company who will assist you through the entire claims process.  They will do their best to get in touch with you within 72 hours - when there are large storms, please anticipate a delay.  Your insurance adjuster will schedule an appointment to see the loss as soon as possible, but at your convenience.

It is an insured's responsibility to mitigate any further loss, within reason (for example, if you have a leaking roof, put a bucket under the leaking area - the company does not want you going on the roof).  Your safety is most important.  Make sure to take photos and save all receipts and documents pertaining to the loss for the adjuster.
